5. I don't see that but some good stuff anyway
Compare and contrast:

1995: Rep. Dan Burton (R-IN), then chair of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, investigated whether taxpayers were footing the cost of stationery and postage for the fan club dedicated to President Clinton’s cat, Socks. (They were not - and it turns out Barbara Bush’s dog Millie had a fan club too.)

2005: Two weeks ago, President Bush admitted he willfully flouted a law that requires him to get warrants before wiretapping U.S. citizens. His justification for ignoring the law appears to be nobless oblige. In reaction, Republicans in charge of the Senate Judiciary Committee announced on Friday that they are planning “oversight” hearings into the matter.

7. Yeah, privatizing highways, that's a great idea!
Especially in a town like Los Angeles, which is nothing but highway! :eyes:

9. yeah, wouldn't doubt it
the commons is being sold from underneath the people. It will be an international fek fest--Let's see Dubai could own our ports, countries can own our roads, mines and hey, since prisons are being privatized, maybe the Saudi's could own them or another one of those countries who love inhumane treatment of people and torture. Being sold off a piece at a time!!!!!!

11. there will be arches that read a chip in your car and give you a smog test
at the same time, you will get a bill in the mail for miles on the road and any excess speed in between pylons.. they will know where you go when and how long you stayed.... the system has been developed in Virginia for years..

he said this last year when gas first went up, it went up the flag pole but no one saluted.. they keep bringing it up, it will catch on.. no one can stop it, there is too much profit in controlling movement.. if they want you they will know where you are..

how much would you owe if they measured you speed between pylons last week.. and issued you a ticket between each pylon... :hide:

12. For whom the road tolls. The road tolls for thee.
Edited on Sat Aug-05-06 02:17 PM by DemoTex
In order to keep traffic flowing, hi-tech tollways necessitate electronic passes ("toll-tags"). "Toll-tags" are GOP make-work for firms like Deibold. "Toll-tags" are yet another way for the Bu$h regime to track you. "Private-ownership" is a euphemism for the selling out of taxpayer-paid infrastructure to, in many cases, our foreign masters. All for cheaper gasoline, which is already so overpriced that Big-Oil is making record, obscene, profits. Good idea? I think not.

Blood is cheap to Bu$h.
