I know this is early but with the problems some films have getting shown, it's a good idea to start bugging them now. Here's the trailer....

UPDATE: On From Freedom to Fascism: Russo has pulled the film to re-edit it. (thanks to the whining of the corporate slave critics) It did very well in the 10 theatres it was released in. In fact, IT WAS A HIT. AFTF will be back in the theatres in Sept. So we'll have TWO good movies in Sept, right before the election. Both films are bad news for the Republicans.

The United States government's quest to make John Lennon go away back in the 1970's failed. It turned out that, John and Yoko were not being paranoid when they felt their phones were bugged and they were being followed. In fact..the United States government had been watching the couple and trying to figure out a way to have them deported.

Jon Wiener, who wrote the critically acclaimed book, "Come Together: John Lennon In His Time" which took a serious and in-depth look at the Lennons' fight to stay in the USA, worked for years, along with the ACLU, to get the FBI's secret files on the Lennons released under the Freedom of Information Act. They finally won the case and you can see some of what the government has been hiding in Wiener's latest Lennon book, "Gimme Some Truth: The John Lennon FBI Files."

when vidal says nixon and bush represent death and lennon represented life and they show that shot of john dancing carefree

i don't know why. it just moves me.

i was only a very young kid when ithappened, but i'll never get over lennon's murder
