Kentucky bans "infidel" books
http://spirituality.typepad.com/biblebelt/

It's on the books. Under Kentucky law it says:

"no book or other publication of a sectarian, infidel,or immoral character, or that reflects on any religious denomination, shall be used or distributed in any common school." The law also prohibits schools from teaching "sectarian, infidel, or immoral doctrine."

I wonder if the Koran would be banned under this law, or the Book of Morman? The terms "Infidel" or "immoral character" could be interpreted in many ways. It's been on the books for a long time and has survived many reforms and repeals of outdated laws.

4. So books of religious criticism,
'tomes of apostasy' and 'heretical discourse' are ban?

I would assume then that books that proclaim, 'Religion is the opiate of the people' or other variations of this theme are also to be burned in Kentucky.
