Bomb Blasts Wound 8 in Baqouba Market

Whenever I read headlines likes this I am reminded of Wes Clark's remarks that the Iraq war represents "the greatest strategic blunder in the history of the republic."

-The Iraq War has destabilized the region.

-Turned the U S into an occupying power.

-Removed a countervailing force to Iran.

-Resulted in the death of 2,500 American soldiers and 50,000 Iraqi civilians.

-Is costing hundreds of billions of dollars.

-There is no exit strategy.

-Is creating a Shia cresecent from Iran into Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.

It is the ultimate quagmire. Too costly to stay... Too costly to leave...

1. Will the World come to an end if you leave.?
Will US be able to repair their image if US stay?

Will it be too costly if you leave?

Will bush looks like a fool if US leave?

I think he would.
So he is staying
Maybe US say price cheap just to save his face.
Maybe not
Maybe he get march to Hague
Maybe this seen as American people victory if he does get march to Hague
Maybe he dont get march to Hague
Maybe History show he did not get punish
Maybe future Americans just look as this as black spot in American History
Maybe some future American try understand why people now act as such.

2. I Think All Those Things Will Happen
plus I believe there will be a bloody civil war between the Shias, Sunnis, and Kurds that will drag in most of the region.

5. I Hope So
Kurds want their own country and have for some time. If it was up to me I would give them their own country just like I would give the Palestinians, the Israelis, the Tibetans their own country too.

The Shias want the power that comes with being a majority. The Sunnis want to be represented.

If this can all occur peacefully the Americans and the British should leave tomorrow. They probably should leave tomorrow anyway.

6. Have faith in the people
History always shows that the great empire always has trouble with unrest.
But once they leave the occupied region peace come back after some brief unrest.
There are a lot of multi racial countries in these world.
People can live in peace.
Just dont go interfering with their goverment.
Dont support this group or that.
Let them work it out.
Peace will come.

However I do not have objection if foriegn power occupy country and other country support the resistance.
Like in Agfhanistan during the Russian occupation. I do not see problem with US supporting the freedom fighter.
Neither would I see country supporting Iraqies freedom fighter as a problem.
Fair is fair. One cannot say if I do it, it is right and when others do it it is wrong.
That is the problems with US.
I am just just people. Maybe one day someone attack my country and take over. So we fight back. Will it be wrong? Will someone supporting you be wrong.
There is no excuse for occupying land that is not yours. That does not lead to peace.
You think Germany Japan and Italy be peaceful today if still under occupation and not self rule?
Let the people has their freedom. Let them have their Liberty and let them has their choice of goverment.
If you have that right so should they.
Or the people will just fight and fight until they get it.
