Lockdown as poll protests increase
MEXICO ramped up security at its international airport, power plants and oil refineries overnight, as leftists challenging a tight presidential election result threatened to intensify crippling protests.

Supporters of leftist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who claim his narrow defeat in the July 2 election was rigged, warned they would step up civil disobedience unless the country's electoral court orders a full vote-by-vote recount.

"There is no other solution than a vote recount. Faced with any other scenario we will expand our civil resistance campaign," Mr Lopez Obrador's spokesman Gerardo Fernandez said.

"We want to warn that we will not agree with a partial recount nor with a sample."

11. Not True!

What we lacked was LEADER who would stand in the streets with US.
One who would have called to us from Florida, Ohio, or Washington DC and said:

"Come STAND WITH ME!.
This election has been STOLEN
and I WILL NOT LEAVE until we have JUSTICE!"

MIllions from across the country would have answered the call.

So Far, our Democratic Leadership (with a few exceptions Conyers, McKinney) have been conspicuously absent from any gatherings of The People. They RUN from protests.

The LEADER called the PEOPLE in the Ukraine and in Mexico.
Our People are fine. It is the LEADERSHIP that is lacking in the USA!

6. I blame it on antideppressents. My neighbors (live in a condo)
are all on them and could give a crap about politics. They think that there is something wrong with me in trying to change our society.

7. That's a pretty good theory.
There's a book out called "Artificial Happiness" that makes that point.

10. Recounts only work if the vote was legitimate.
Good for the protestors! More power to you.
