CO2 - Some call it pollution. We call it life.
For those that haven't seen it, these commercials sound like parodies. Well, they're real.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute was kind enough to place their videos on YouTube. Here is their CO2 website.

If they like it so much they can move to Venus.

I hear it's a balmy 465 Degrees and a 100 atm worth.

Sounds to be their kind of place.

7. oh my gosh..
Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! CO2 is just life, not pollution. LOL..I about fell out of my chair!

They need a commercial of some guy shoving a stick dynamite up his butt then lighting it on fire. The voice over could be, "Lit dynamite in the rear, some call it self destruction, we just call it fire works."

14. in 1992 it was 6 billion metric tonnes
there were 400 million cars in the world then....this stat was taken from the may/92 issue of harpers magazine. since 1992, the number of cars has increased, and the totals/carbon must be way up there....how much can the earth's 12 mile thick atmosphere absorb? running 10 thousand miles, a car puts its weight in carbon into the air....
some people think that 100 degrees is about as high as the temp can go, but really, it's a miracle, in effect, that the earth only experiences temp between minus 60 and plus 120 or so.....if the applecart is upset, even the cockroaches could cook

21. if i were a tree, yes...
but there's pretty much always such a thing as too much. like too much oxygen will kill us respirating organisms, too. currently there's too much carbon dioxide in our atmospheric composition... oh hell, it's just stupid propaganda to reel in the stupid sound-bite cultists.
