"Democracies don't go to war with each other" and Iraq war spin
One of the frequent talking points trotting out to promote the continuation of the Iraq war is the idea that democracies don't attack each other. Is that now out the window given the war between Israel and Lebanon? Should Democrats cite this conflict to refute Republican democratic peace arguments?
2. "Democratic Peace theory" is Globalist/Neo-Liberal nonsense.
In 1914 France and the UK were out-n-out democracies and Germany had also become reasonably democratic, that didn't stop France and Germany from mauling each other. Indeed, Democracy made things worse because of the jingoism and nationalism in those countries became expressed in public policy.
