RNC Advises Candidates NOT to Defend Bush
RNC Advises Candidates Not to Defend Bush

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the RNC "opened its two-day annual summer meeting... hoping to outline a national strategy that will enable its candidates to swim against a tide of popular opinion flowing against Bush and the Republicans in Congress."

"The theme of the meeting... is 'Defining the difference,' and that means debating the Democrats on the issues and not defending Bush and the Republican Congress on the policies they have instituted in the past six years."

Instead, they hope GOP candidates can "localize" the elections.

2. So the national party advises candidates to CUT N RUN from Bush.
Why? I thought things were going well in Iraq? I thought the economy was booming? I though Bush has the country on the right course? I keep hearing them tell me that every day, every Sunday on the talking heads shows. The GOP goon squads line up to tell us how great Bush is doing and that people just don't understand the shear magnitude of his greatness.

Just, uh...pretend you don't know him, y'know?

at every debate, at every opportunity, remind them of their past words and deeds, dont let them run from their actions and their responsibilities.

6. WTF? "...not defending Bush and the Republican Congress on the
policies they have instituted in the past six years."

So, basically, they admit they've done a lousy job, and they still expect to win based on what? In many cases, the candidates ARE the Republican Congress. So, they want everyone to just ignore what they've done (or not done, as the case may be) for the past 6 years and give them another chance?

FAT FUCKIN' CHANCE, ASSHOLES! We remember all to well, and we've HAD ENOUGH!

It was all a big mistake and we were forced to do it against our wills, but it's good for you anyway and it's all Clinton's penis' fault too! Whatever you do, don't vote on our records! We're really nice, we swear! You can trust us! You are getting sleepy, so sleepy...Look! It's Chewbacca!
