Do any of you know what Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's voting record has been on minimum wage. I just heard a news report with her saying we are turning our backs on the middle class and the poor and my head almost popped off. I FREAKING HATE THESE PEOPLE

Called her office and they were unable to tell me what her past voting record on minimum wage was and I said well if I was a betting person I bet she has repeatedly voted against it and is a FREAKING HYPOCRIT - and then the woman said good-bye mame. WHATEVER.

If she has repeatedly voted against minimum wage I think we should flood her office with calls she makes me sick.

But, having met someone who sat on the Grand Jury that handed down her indictment, she should be in jail, not the US Senate.

She voted for two amendments raising the MW in 1999 and two in 2006, both times on amendments her party favored and the Dems rejected. In other words, likely all trailer amendments to other bills the Repubs wanted past. I saw no other key votes she made on Minimum Wage, but I may have missed it.

KB Hutchison is an interesting Republican. She's a bit more moderate than the average Repub, and not very bright. There was a rumor at one point that the Senate staffers in DC had voted her "Least likely to become a rocket scientist." But she has crossed over on a couple of votes here and there. She does seem persuadable now and then. The biggest crossover I remember had to do with confirming the Confederate Flag as a symbol for the Daughters of the Confederacy, or some such group. I don't remember why there was even a vote on the issue. But Carol Mosley Braun made a beautiful, impassioned speech about what the flag meant to African Americans, and how she was the only representative of that group able to even speak before the Senate on the issue. Apparently she teared up as she spoke. When she was finished, KBH changed her vote to reject the flag. She earned a lot of respect from me over that vote, I have to admit.

7. Ok from the quick research I have done

and you're help it looks like Kay Bitch Liar Hutchison has voted no for minimum wage in March 2005 no to the seven dollar bill but yes to the six dollar - no in October 2005 and NO JUST FREAKING last month - and yet she has the BIG BRASS BALLS to stand in front of the microphone yesterday and say we are letting poor people down.... I BEG YOU PLEASE CALL HER OFFICE and tell them she is a freaking pathetic lying sack of shit HYPOCRIT.

I have no idea why this has set me off so big - but man has it.

I have called her so much, the girl that answers the phone says,
"Are you the one on _____ Street?" She threatened me once, saying
she was going to call the police because I was "harassing" Kay
Bailey. That was just because I was calling about a Senate bill.
I told her, "Look here, missy. She works for me and don't you
forget it. I'm going to do everything in my power to get her fired
and your sorry butt will go with her." Those people are downright
nasty.

But when the democrats called for the increase last month, KBH said something along the line of "it would hurt business, if we increased minimum wage."

Funny she is singing a different tune, now that they want to increase it by their standards.
She is no friend of the working class. She's a Corporate Whore no question about it.
