World's Longest Yard Sale This Weekend

If you're looking for a bargain, you just might find it this weekend at the world's longest yard sale.

The sale runs 450 miles along U.S. Highway 127. It goes all the way from Covington, Ky. through Tennessee to Gadsden, Ala.

The rummaging officially starts Thursday, but some folks have had their stuff set up since last Saturday.

The world's longest yard sale was started in 1987 by the Fentress County Chamber of Commerce in Jamestown, Tenn.

They wanted to show the world that the state's back roads have something to offer.
