2. I heard him thinking "Okay, how am I getting back at this bitch?"
He's made a note in his Revenge book. Mark my words. He was humiliated in public, and assholes like Rumsfeld don't like that sort of thing.

It's an opportunity for all of us to send a little love out to our Sec of Defense, now that he's got a little more experience on the DEFENSE side of things.

Remember the good old days, Rummie, when you could just drop a few tones of explosives on civilians to feel good about yourself again?

6. Yeah -- "My goodness!"
You'd think a litany of fuck-ups like Sen. Clinton reeled off to Rumsfeld would merit an "Oh shit" or even a "Fuck me," but the best he could come up with was "My goodness." The monster doesn't even know how to shit the bed right.

Did I screw up this war? Sure, but who is noticing? Do I sound like Rumsfield when he is answering questions? You bet your ass I do!!!!

11. Moreover, does anyone notice how whenever he is asked a
question of substance, he defers to the generals at the table with him? He can pretty much be certain that they will say whatever they have been ordered to say (like Pence stumbling all over himself to control whatever "misconception" the other general gave re: insurgency v. civil war), and no legislator would ever be caught questioning the voracity of someone in uniform.

Pitbull Hillary should have not let go.
Rumsfeld is one of the keys to this administrations hubris and incompetence.

13. Sounded like an "how dare you" to me.
He was taken aback Sen. Clinton had the audacity to say such things to him and he seemed genuinely put off. Just like the rest of them, the man doesn't take accountability for his actions and feels he is above question.

14. Spot On
It wasn't concern for the content of the question, it was shock at the audacity of HC to dare question his reign. Scumbag.

On the other hand, the Senate Armed Services committee FINALLY called the rat bastard out. Mmmm, I love the smell of electioneering in the morning...smells like victory.

17. I wonder if he's setting up a senility defense?
He's privy to the actual situation, information that you and I don't see. I wonder if he got caught with a bit of information that he thought only he knew, only to have it thrown at him in a Senate Hearing.
Somewhere the monster says oh shit and starts rambling on, off somewhere only the deranged go to, who could blame a dottering, old, man, senility defense activated.

Another supposed sign of lying is rapid blinking. It's true that when we become aroused or our mind is racing, there's a corresponding increase in our blinking rate. Our normal rate is about 20 blinks per minute, but it can increase to four or five times that figure when we feel under pressure. When liars are searching for an answer to an awkward question, their thought processes speed up. In this kind of situation, lying is frequently associated with blinking.
