Foreman says dozens of farm workers hit by Israeli airstrike

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - An Israeli airstrike hit dozens of farm workers loading vegetables near the Lebanon-Syria border on Friday, the workers' foreman said.

Foreman Rabei al-Jabali said about 40 of the Lebanese and Kurdish laborers were taken to a hospital in Syria, because roads had been cut off by Israeli attacks earlier Friday.

Al-Jabali said some workers were killed but it was unclear how many.
