Blair - Blood on his hands
Blair knew in advance of attack launched on Lebanon :

"Blair knew the attack on Lebanon was coming but he didn't try to stop it, because he didn't want to."

snip

"I am told that the Israelis informed George W Bush in advance of their plans to "destroy" Hezbollah by bombing villages in southern Lebanon. The Americans duly informed the British. So Blair knew."

from Monday's New Statesman : http://www.newstatesman.com/200608070017

Getting strong news coverage today on TV in the UK.

1. Superb article
They all knew. Only the naive and stupid believe otherwise.
From the article
At a Downing Street reception not long ago, a guest had the temerity to ask Tony Blair: "How do you sleep at night, knowing that you've been responsible for the deaths of 100,000 Iraqis?" The Prime Minister is said to have retorted: "I think you'll find it's closer to 50,000."
Blair is a cold cynical blood thirsty war criminal! To the fugging Hague!!

2. What is The New Statesman?
I see it's British, but is it affiliated with any certain party?
In print also (I see the article is dated Mon. Aug. 7, 2006) or just online mag?

Sadly, I didn't see any of this in The Guardian or a couple other Brit onlines I read. Does their press also ignore certain interesting pieces like the US media does?

3. That magazine date is pre-dated
- it's next Monday's edition. Our TV news channels picked up on it today.

See for maybe unbiased description : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Statesman

Generally described as centre left - it's published weekly.

I can almost guarantee that some halfwit will post it as breaking news Monday 8th. :)

4. It's a left of centre print magazine
It's been running for over 90 years now.

They're generally associated with the Labour party since traditionally they've shared the same left of centre political ground. I used to subscribe to it prior to Labour's election victory over the Tories in 1997 but must admit I've not read it too much since then.

I'd not expect them to ignore any relevant story.

Shouting in the street gonna take on the world some day
Got blood on your face
Big disgrace
Waving your banner all over the place

Audience: we will, we will
Rock you, sing it
We will, we will, rock
