Last night, as bumper music Mike Malloy played a portion of a song from one of my favorite albums, 'Radio Kaos'. I haven't had a turn table in years, so I haven't been able to listen to it. I highly recommend the album if you like Pink Floyd, or Roger Waters in particular.

WHO NEEDS INFORMATION(by Roger Waters)

~snip~

Benny climbed up on a footbridge
And he teetered on the parapet
He said can you see the whites of their headlights
Are they coming yet

Who needs information
This high off the ground
Just give me confirmation
We could win a million pounds

Who needs information
When you're living in constant fear
Just give me confirmation
There's some way out of here
Some way out of here

Benny hefted a breeze block
And tried to let go
Got hung up on a tear drop
So me and Benny went home

2. Great song, Roger Waters is quite possibly the greatest musician ever
"The Tide is Turning" is another excellent song from the same album, and it also has a very progressive message.

3. Don't forget "Amused to Death"
Its lyrics are as consequential now as they were in 1992.

5. Love KAOS..."Home" is one of my favorite Waters tunes
If you are a Radio KAOS fan may I suggest you read Jim Ladd's book Radio Waves. Ladd was the DJ on KAOS and a famous freeform DJ in his own right. His book chronicles the advent of FM rock radio and contains much about his relationship with Rog. It's a terrific read...

Rog's Opera is World Premiering Aug 26 in Poland

Also check out Rog on the road:

I know some people at Strictly FX, the company who is doing Rog's pyro, and they say he is doing some next generation shit and it's not to be missed.

Malloy has always played Rog's stuff, it's one of the things that attracted me to him.
