4. Sounds to me like

1) Repubs get the tax cut
2) Repubs screw tip earners
3) Repubs claim credit for a miniscule min wage hike, to woo the unthinking.

This going down the tubes is a good thing.

1) Repubs do not get their tax cut
2) Tip earners are protected in those states which have mi wage + tips
3) Repubs get credit for jack shit.

We can live with the 'Dems shot down the minimum wage' if we can explain the truth of it.
