I always thought he was a conservative, but of the type I could tolerate.


See I think some degree of balance is required in politics between the right and the left. But I just think Tom Friedman, DLC-type dems, fiscally conservative dems etc. should be the "right"-and thus there is sane right - and anyone to the right of them considered just insane :).

We desperately need a left shift...
