If it sounds like I'm being a smart ass, I am. Actually, my opinion is that if you don't like him, you really don't have to listen. Cubs are winnin', Spaghetti for supper (that's what us common folks call it), and it isn't so hot today. :)

1. I agree....

I dont always agree with the man but he is able to reach out to an audience that others (like Randi Rhodes, Franken, Malloy, etc....) would never get. This makes him very important to bridge the gap between blue and red.

5. I enjoy Ed because he is talking about what

the pulse of the nation is thinking about.......I like hearing an unsalted talk show. Randi and Mike are definitely pure left...and I do get very bored with Randi's constant, condescending basher tone. Don't get me wrong, I support her and would stand with her on the issues but it feels a lot like whining at times.....

Ed can evoke discussion....that's the difference.. O8)

8. I listen to him on the way home from work

and, while he is certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I think his heart is in the right place. At least I'm pretty sure he has a heart-I channel-surfed AM radio late the other night looking for baseball scores and in a 10 minute time span I heard the most vile crap on EVERY station and it reminded me why I stopped listening to any AM.
