Are you Afraid of our Government?
Goddammit I hate to admit that I am. I know that they are supposed to fear us, and its all ass backwards now, but I am afraid of them.

And that sucks. I admire those who can confidently say, "fuck no, I am not afraid of these temporary fascist fucks", and I wish I could say that aloud, but I can't.

Am I a defeated individual? Have I already died and just didn't realize it?

Have I surrendered by own ass and soul when I admit that I'm afraid of my own government?

What the fuck is wrong with me, and us?

3. I'm afraid of the idiocy and foolishness of Bush and the GOP.
But I think that the United States Constitution and democracy will help us with that problem in November. I'm a believer in the government of the United States. I want to see it more transparent in the future so it can't be screwed up like it has been under Bush and the GOP. But no, I'm definitely not afraid of the government. It is well designed, a blessing.

9. LOL!
You read my mind. Cannot WAIT to ditch this office for a nice cool bottle of Pinot Grigio ("sure takes the sting out of being occupied" as Sam said in "Casablanca").

but I am afraid of those that sit by and let our government do as they please in our name, instead of taking back our country by any means necessary.

They are handing over our power and that's scary. Very scary...

10. Personally, I'd say you'd have to be pretty naive to not
fear this government. Unlike any of our administrations before, this one is above the law, above congress and above the court because it is stacked. JMHO

13. No.
Why should I be? We're insignificant to them and even if we weren't there would be no point in being afraid, if they really want to get you, they'll get you.

14. When you've got nothing, you've got nothing to lose...
Lost jobs...lost marriages (due to lost jobs)...lost pensions...lost health coverage

If despair over these losses turns to anger with the Bush regime, the government should be afraid.

16. There's nothing wrong with you or any of us...we are realists &
think logically. That's all that's needed to be afraid of our government.

17. You should be afraid.
Feeling fear isn't wrong, they've given you lots of reasons to fear them. The question is, will you be able to do the right thing when it's your turn to do it, despite the fear?

19. Don't know about fear - but I definitely worry a lot
They are destroying the world and all that's good in it just as fast as they can. It's not just the current administration, but a whole gang of folks who don't seem to understand the potential consequences of their actions. They just don't give a damn about humanity.
