Breaking--bush offers Democracy to Cuba!
Edited on Thu Aug-03-06 04:48 PM by Philosoraptor
Just announced on cnn, bush issues statement offering aid and democracy to the Cuban people if they want it.

How wonderful of him! I'm sure Cuba will want bush's Iraq style democracy real soon.

SEND MONEY GUNS AND CONDI, DEMOCRACY'S HIT THE FAN!

He isn't offering democracy to us here at home. Malcolm X said that the white man either wanted to do something to him or take something from him. ... 'nuff said.

Will the * administration attack it - I mean "spread Democracy to it" (my bad) - in an effort to divert our attention away from the cluster-fuck (of our making) that is the Middle East? Stranger things have happened.

28. Bush and the GOP have really hurt the image of democracy.
He and his idiot followers can't even criticize Cuba without the entire rest of the world snickering. It is a damned shame. Republicans brought us shame and are proven idiots. Don't you agree, Philosoraptor?

President bush offered democracy to Cuba today, and Cuba said, "Thanks, but we think we'll just stick with the late Fidel Castro".

The entire nation of Cuba was totally abandoned today after President bush offered to help out with some democracy.

Bush (or "President bush" as you call him) and the GOP humiliated democracy and our country. Doesn't that make Bush and the GOP idiots? I really want to know what you think on that question.

36. yes, they've hijacked the word democracy.
and they are idiots who write lofty speeches with lofty words like democracy, but they've changed the meaning of almost all words, and millions of idiots fell for it.

We're turning the corner, freedom is on the march, the world is safer, these are all gag lines now.

The founding fathers would be pissed that they'd have to start all over again.

39. Well, but they are not idiots for writing and talking about democracy.
Right? They (Bush and the GOP) are idiots for humiliating democracy and America in the eyes of the world by their actions, over and over. Right?

The question of whether they are also bunko artists or hypocrits is completely separate. I'm wondering whether you agree that Bush and the GOP are proven idiots based strictly on the actions they have taken while in power and the results we now see before us. Do you agree with that?

40. Hell yes, it'll take decades to fix this crap.
Democracy now means Roman assimilation. There's democracy the concept, and new American democracy, they've disgraced us forever, and done everything possible to destroy democracy.

They've permanently shamed us forever in the history books.

But, it will get worse.
