Clinton (Hillary) to Ole Alzheimer (Rumsfeld)....
C: Given your track record, why should we believe you now?

OA: My goodness....

What a frigging ultra-maroon.

1. Just Heard A NPR Report About Their Talk Today ...
Hillary said Rumsfeld is carrying on a failed policy in Iraq.

If I were him my reply would be then why did you support every action that Bush and I took?

Hate to say it but this time it is Hillary who is lacking credibility as she is criticizing a war she has financed and supported all along with her Senate votes.

8. That is very true
Her latter day convenient conversion to part time wanting more troops, part time bashing the consequences of the failed policies she supported and part time bashing of Rumsfeld fail to impress me at all

3. He has descended into self-parody
Does this sound like an SNL skit?

The defense secretary responded to Clinton. "Are there setbacks? Yes. Are there things that people can't anticipate? Yes. Does the enemy have a brain and continue to make adjustments on the ground requiring our forces to make adjustments? You bet," he said.

"Is that going to continue to be the case? I think so. Is this problem going to get solved in the near term about this long struggle against violent extremism? No, I don't believe it is."

4. Come on...did he REALLY say that?
He has indeed become a caricature of himself if true.

6. I wonder why Hillary never appears on MTP, This Week with George, etc -
She has been staying off-camera for years. She has consistently said she wants to wait until this year - hoping for improvements in the war.

With today's events now is the time for her to be everywhere articulating a new view.

7. If Kerry got branded a "flip-flop"er ... I hate to think what's coming
for HRC. I really worry that she's too much of a politician (she certainly had a good teacher in Big Dawg). I'll take a rumpled Dennis Kucinich (non-telegenic but steadfast in his beliefs) over a shiny, polished, new-and-improved Hillary any day.
