2. Tasini is polling at 13% and should be allowed into the debate. Having
the further requirement for a candidate that they must have raised $500,000 tells us what our corrupt political system has become. It is past time that we had public financing of campaigns so that our representatives will put the people first, and not the special interests. Democracy now!

What are the political power structure in New York afraid of? Surely Hillary Clinton is quite capable of defending her positions on the Iraq occupation and the increasingly perilous situation in the Middle East.

3. Kick
New York Duers need to see this. We can put Tasini in the running if enough of us send him a buck or two!It won't hurt our reputation either if we respond with concrete action instead of merely pontificating to each other via blogs!

4. Hillary Clinton is afraid of democracy
Heck I'm not afraid to say it just because she is Bill's wife.

Her position on Iraq is just about Lieberman's position.

6. if Hillary had any sense of 'democracy' she would
put up the cash herself for John.

this is disgraceful,
disgraceful that only money can give you 'free' speech - and in most cases this so called free speech is delivered to the so called electeds by some lobbyist's scriptwriters.

7. Are we looking at a preview of Primary Races to come?
Will we put a candidate in 2008 who represensts our views or the one who has the most money? Is it 1 man, 1 vote or does money cap vote count?
