How moral of them, wanting the death of another person.
I don't know how brutal Fidel Castro was to his 'people', but he must have been bad to some of them if after 60 years they cheer on death and can't wait for him to die. Did he have lots of people executed during his reign?
1. Perhaps, but I get the impression that the Well off Ex Patriots
in Florida are celebrating because they're wealthy by Cuba's standards and may be dreaming of "making a killing" in the business world when Cuba is Americanized.
and long for the good ol' days. I think they're going to be disappointed. America's boycott has allowed Cuba to build relationships with everyone from Canada and the EU to Venezuela. They're not likely to go back to the days of American-supported corruption.
How many of those celebrating consider themselves to be good Catholics? I know Castro has done some bad things, but you think they would hold back on the sinful exuberance.
