Just wanna rant a minute about a lesbian friend of mine who I took out to eat at TGIFridays with some other friends of mine. As we are sitting at the table as she was talking about her fiance, we heard a lil snicker fron the booth behind us. We were talking with low voices, until we relized they were snickering at my friend. The reason for that was is this, they were laughing not because she was a lesbian, but she was not a what they call, a PORN STAR LESBIAN. Now She and myself will admit, you won't see her on Playboy, FHM, Cosmopolitan, etc. She doesn't have the an erotic voice that would turn on any man since she has a loud voice with a slight southern twang, she doesn't have long legs since she is 5'3, etc. I myself am getting sick and tired of guys thinking the only good lesbians are the porn star hot lesbians. These people think with only their dicks instead of their hearts

People who make fun of other people in public suck, whoever their target, but I'm guilty myself. Neither dicks nor hearts think, and I don't mean to just be literal here. Emotional responses, no matter what kind, are not logical. They are reactive, impulsive. It's possible the guys you are referring to above are actually gay-friendly and have a lesbian sister who resembles your friend, and your friend was reminding them of something stupid their sister said or did. Maybe not, I don't know, but you can't know for sure, either. But that's logic. Your reaction to their reaction, like theirs before yours, is emotional.

I agree that people need to get the fuck over homosexuality already, though. It's not going away.

Typically, we categorize everything and assign it a label. Like big corporate music stores. As space is limited, the creation of new sections is frowned upon unless absolutely necessary, so the attempt is made to fit new things into an existing category, even if it doesn't really fit well.
