1. He wouldn't have a prayer of that
if the state Dems, in all their great and magnificent wisdom, hadn't chosen a man women can't trust on reproductive health.

3. the theory only works
if pro-choice Romanelli can take about 10% of the vote.

Makes you wonder what other tricks Santorum has up his sleeve. Now that he's claiming Casey was backed by Al Jazeera, maybe he can say that Casey is in cahoots with what's left of the "axis of evil."

4. I have no problem with anti-choice dems.
Because you know what? They won't agree with me on everything anyway, but they will still support Harry Reid for Majority leader and that's the most important thing.

5. Lordy.
With friends like those, who needs enemies?

Seriously, a lot of women WILL NOT support Casey because they can't trust him on choice. Either they will vote Green or they will stay home.

Do you really think the party can afford the loss of women voters along with the loss of its traditional working class base? The latter hasn't worked out that well, remember.

6. And a lot of women will ne wrong
Do you prefer Santorum, an anti-choice Dem, or a green party candidate funded by the pukes? Why does someone have to agree with you on ever single issue?

Yes, and it has worked out quite well in PA with presidential elections.

What will Casey do on abortion? Nothing What has Santorum already done to everything you probably hold dear if you are posting here? It's a no brainer.

2. Hey Rickey!!!!! It WON'T work!
I grew up in Pa. and still have relatives & friends there. Everyone of them HATE Rickey!

Back in 2000, several voted for Nader because they didn't like Shrub & didn't like Gore either. NOW they're all appologizing because they know THEY helped put this idiot in the WH!

They learned their lesson Rickey! ou're OUTTA THERE!!

7. Props to JABBS for an intelligent thread.
Framing this discussion as a doomed dirty trick by Santorum and his cronies makes much more sense than making the outrageous projection that the Green Party was somehow complicit in this.

keeping up with the santorum camp is interesting -- they're so awkwardly transparent in their desperation to stay in power!
