I say any sell out like that deserves to have their political life stripped from them. Anyone that wears the "D" but votes like an "R" is a traitor to both sides.

Pay attention all you other DINOS! You are on the menu too! Slated for extinction!

(And now before anyone attacks me as an anti-semite my reference to "right to exist" is just a rhetorical flourish. I am not saying Liebernam = Israel, or Jews or anything else. Is is just an expression so, save it K_jerome and any other practicioners of such slurs! I do not want to hear it.)

1. Yes....

Party loyalty is not an arbiter for political participation of any kind.

EDIT: changed a word to make it read better.

2. This thread is in poor taste.
I'm no fan of Lieberman, but you really should think before you post such crap.

4. Yet another thread of yours
doomed to be locked. Calling out other DUers by name, is not allowed- and the reasons why should be obvious.

Oh, yeah, about Lieberman, sure he and anybody else has a political 'right to exist'- until the voters decide he doesn't.

5. Yes, he does. It's up to the voters of Connecticut to make the decision.

8. If more people vote for him than any other guy in the race, yes.
That's how democracy works. Party loyalty has nothing to do with one's "right to exist," politically or otherwise.

You think he should lose his office? Work like hell to get Lamont elected. But if more people think he should stay, he by definition has the right to do so.

Democracy isn't pleasant a lot of the time, even when it works as it's supposed to.

9. Lieberman seems to think he has a right to that Senate seat.
I really can't wait to see if he runs as an Independent. It'd be the perfect way for him to end his political career; admitting he's a DINO.
