2. Israel must be saved so that Jesus can destroy it.
All Jews must be saved so that they can stop being Jews or burn in hell. It's really simple and goes well with American policy.

5. Sure could be. It would be more informative to have some
elaboration on the point trying to be made.

On the face it is anti-Semitic, but there may be a less sinister explanation for the comment. The writer never explicitly says "There is a Jewish conspiracy...".

Good catch though.
