Poll question: IF Lieberman loses to Lamont by a WIDE Margin, will he concede?
Or will he run as an Independent?

2. Unfortunately, probably not.
Party unity and defeating Republicans isn't of much concern to him. It's all about Joe Lieberman.

4. I think he'd run Indie out of pure spite
It's almost like he thinks he deserves to be a senator, like it's owed to him or something. That he's doing us some sort of favor. I totally expect him to try to take Lamont and the Democrats down with him if he loses the primary. He's acting like a poor sport already, and he must be ridiculously well insulated to seemingly not know any of the issues in the election. He's pathetic.

5. The margin doesn't matter
Whether Lieberman loses the primary by five votes or five hundred thousand, he is convinced that he "owns" his seat by divine right, and will do whatever it takes to keep it. I have to agree with Meegbear: Lieberman is a Republicon, and like a Republicon, will would rather poison the well than let someone else carry the bucket.

6. It is too hard for some people to go away gracefully
but if Lamont wins by 10% or more, I don't know. Hmmmm.

7. I don't think he care which party carries him
just as long as he remains in office. He is a real asshat and no statesman. He is looking out only for himself.

9. Hell, NO!
Joe knows what is best and well....if CT Democrats reject him, he will run anyway because they really don't know what is good for them. Besides, the primary leaves oout much of his real base... :eyes:
