Gen. Moshe Yaalon on C-Span said that Israel is doing the world's work

(read the United States and Europe) by ridding it of terrorists. How very tragic that what both Israel is doing in Lebanon and the United States and Great Britain are doing in Iraq is breeding more terrorists and more distrust of us in the Arab world.

Why do they refuse to see this? How many more people will have to die in both Lebanon and Israel before this madness stops? There seems no end in sight, and our Democratic leaders, except for Jimmy Carter, remain silent or blindly support Israel. This war helps no one.

Restrictive ballot laws keep the party I'd like to identify with, the Green Party off the ballot. Basically, the Dems in NC are ruining the state. The Speaker of the House Jim Black is a dem and he is running the state in a coalition with some republicans like the old rural good 'ol boy South.

Things like this go on all the time. Last year they rammed through the lottery by waiting for one nay voter to go into the hospital and another nay voter to go on his honeymoon out of country, then they called a special session and rammed it through.

He also is allowing out of state trash to come in in droves and is being bought off by the landfill lobby:

He also keeps slush funds in the millions of dollars and uses them to buy off his folks and make money for himself. The democratic govenor is complicit in these acts as is most of the house and senate as none of them are asking for this to stop and they are all taking tons of lobbying money. I cannot stand politics like that.

I am currently working with the Green Party in a coalition with the Libertarians to get them recognized on the ballot so I can actually vote for somebody on a state level.

14. "Terrorist" Is Now a One-Size Fits All Word

In the simplistic world of the right wing...where there's only black or white/good or evil, broad strokes are always applied in spreading the fear and hatred. "Terrorism" and the so-called "War on Terrorism" are easy terms for a boosh and Rove to use to get a blank check on killing, destroying civil liberties and going into endless wars. It also is what keeps his political base cemented. While a Repugnican may not agree with Repugnicans about abortion or immigration, when the word "terror" is played then all the boogie men how up and the divisions slip away. They bleat like sheep.

Part of Israel's biggest PR job right now is to keep the support of the American right wing. They're flooding the airwaves and talk shows to play the Israel is on the front lines on the "War on Terror" game...so that those Repugnicans who may get weak knees will "get with the program"...and reduce the criticism within the GOOP by their own anti-semites.

We were just bystanders of a PR battle for the "hearts and minds" of the Rushbo and O'Reilly listeners.
