Bush to take shortest summer vacation yet...!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060803/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_vacation;_ylt=Ak1J9WshPGOTbgSGsrCM4fGs0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA3OXIzMDMzBHNlYwM3MDM-

Bush leaves Washington on Thursday, but will return nine days later to tend to the problems abroad and at home that are weighing on his presidency. White House spokesman Tony Snow said the president will travel frequently during August — a contrast to previous summers when he has spent nearly the entire month on his ranch.

The White House fought the image that the president would be tuned out even temporarily to problems in the Middle East, where there was no end in sight to fighting between Israel and Lebanon-based Hezbollah militants. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was going to the ranch during his first weekend in Texas. First lady Laura Bush was heading to the ranch Friday night.

"My guess is he's going to be working pretty hard," Snow said. "So this is not something where he's simply going to be gallivanting and ignoring the realities of the situation."

Bush made it clear during a brief appearance before reporters Wednesday that he's looking forward to being at the ranch. "For those of you going to Crawford, saddle up," he teased.

1. he wants Cindy to wear a saddle? Does Condi do that for him, too?
Considering that congress was in session only 80 days all year, they have wrought a great deal of damage in that short time. According to Lou Dobbs, this is the shortest ever.
Having shrub clear bush in Texas, I just hope there is a devastating heat wave.

9. We made a SERIOUS ERROR.
We continue to use the Elephant emblem for the GOP.
It needs to be changed to the Pig. A big, fat, muddy, filthy, smelly swine, so engorged with lobbyist cash that it can barely walk.

10. Swine-a nice visual that!
It would make a great ad, an animation of an elephant morphing into a brutish swine.

4. Think he is going to be able to take time to meet with Cindy now?
Camp Casey is about to be up and running! I may even come up hobble around for a day trip if I can find a ride. I wish I was ambulatory, now of all times! I would be getting arrested, I would be a Cindy groupie. I'm a VFP & I'm pissed off, so I'd fit right in

VACATION RATIO

Yep ... this nine-day vacation will be the shortest of the 87 vacations that Chimpy McFlightsuit has taken since the Rove/Halliburton machine crowned him.

Out of 1,651 days in office, the Chimpbecile-in-Chief has been on vacation for 582 days.

1651 - 582 = 1139 That's 35.25%

Then subtract the days he's out whoring for Republican candidates, attending corporate fundraisers, flitting from one photo-op to another, and it comes out that George W. Bush has actively worked 26.6 days in the past five-plus years.

That's an INCREDIBLE ACCOMPLISHMENT: To utterly fuck up a nation's economy, work force, international reputation, federal deficit, and an entire war in only 26.6 days.

No WONDER all the lemming Republicunt 26-percenters are just quivering with anticipation as they stand in line to suckle him.
