Anyone catch Kissenger tonight on Charlie Rose?

Charlie asked Kissenger what he would do differently with Iranian diplomacy. One thing he said was that he would tell Iran that the Western nations would NOT allow them to become the great power they are headed for now but would negotiate a lesser role....which would include NO nuclear arms. He said he does not trust the current regime but understood they were, as a growing power, in need of greater security. So Kissenger said, short of nuclear arms he'd ask what they would require to feel secure?

Gee, I wonder why they'd feel insecure....lol! The whole Western world is surrounding them, invading neighboring countries, and using their own nuclear power to keep the world in check.

Everyone is focused on what should be done but no one is talking about the U.S.'s root cause for even being over there.
Why isn't anyone asking WHY the USA needs to be in this region to begin with?
Because the answer is not acceptable to most people....oil, pipeline deals, western hegemony and control.

Why aren't we free by now of the these resource addictions? Because the oil companies would rather pump billions of dollars into lining their OWN pockets as opposed to doing what's best for this country and those of others by investing in renewable energy.
