Produced in 1947 by the US War Department. This film explores exactly what is happening here in America. Funny and sad that the insight we had back in 1947 can not be utilized today. America is becoming exactly what America loathed and fought against over 60 years ago.

This film was brought to DU's attention in a recent 'highly recommended'thread. Some people thought it was worthy of a thread of it's own. No one has started one so far as I can tell, so.... It is very much worth 16 minutes of your time.

1. Hey, at least in 1947 they were 'honest enough' to call it the "War Dept."

instead of the euphemism "Dept. of Defense".

which is one of those rapture "code words"....there was a "Left Behind" series of books (and movie?), IIRC??? (which left every child "behind").....

18. In the game the U.N is the

AntiChrist's Global Peacekeepers. The game ranks right up there with "Left behind".. I believe it's just an attempt to demonize the U.N. in the eyes of kids.

Clearly the NeoCons have long term goals. One or two elections will not stop it.
