I never knew that!

20. Bush refused to read the HartRudman Report on Global Terror handed to him
Edited on Thu Jan-19-06 09:46 AM by blm
on Jan 30, 2001.

It was a 2 1/2 year comprehensive study of global terror that included URGENT PROPOSALS for Homeland Security.

Bush, Cheney and Rice REFUSED TO READ IT. Gore would have read it the day it was handed to him.

9-11 happened because BushInc WANTED IT TO HAPPEN.

29. I remember this...
This info came out about a year after 9/11, if I'm not mistaken. Clinton wanted to warn them, but they wouldn't take his advice. Why don't we ever hear of this? I tried doing a search a few times, but didn't have the info to get anything.

16. If Bush had paid attention and not considered the 8 year report
on global terrorism moot that was handed to him by the Clinton administration when he first took office, the events on 9-11 would have been prevented!

FACE IT FREEPERS! BUSH was in power for 8 MONTHS and thought clearing brush and reading children books was more important than our nation's security!

being born and many other problems we are facing today. Clinton actually postponed the inevitable, but it seems to all go back to his presidency.

21. Not Freepers they are Hannitized (check post #7 on that link)
-there is a difference between the two groups sort of like how there is a difference between poo and turds...but there is a difference-

Check this out

If Bush decided to protect our nation with a national curfew or by installing cameras in every home, you wouldn't like that, would you? Surely it would protect the nation, but you wouldn't like it. So, even you have a limit as to what you'll tolerate in the name of national security, even if Bush is, in your words, complying with his oath of office.
Well, liberals and moderate conservatives have a lower threshhold for what they consider reasonable measures to protect America. And in a country that was created with a system of check and balances, we don't throw them away so that you can support the president from your party.
Because really, that's what this is: if a Democratic president took the same steps Bush has taken, you'd hate it more than anything on Earth.

26. Too fuckin' bad, Freepers! You had him once. You were impeaching him.
You could have impeached him on ANYTHING substantive (whether or not he actually did what he would have been accused of is beside the point). If you wanted him on leaving America vulnerable to terrorists, you should have CHARGED him with that, you dumb fucks! But what did you charge him with??? Having an extramarital affair! Yeah, assholes, real threat to the nation there. :eyes:

Also, ever stop to think that you were distracting President Clinton from doing his job with your idiotic crap-job impeachment affair?

Go blow it out your assholes, freepers!
