The Senate took a vacation from common sense earlier this week when it voted 71 to 25 to expand harmful offshore drilling. Instead of relying on American ingenuity and know-how to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, the Senate decided to go with a dirty solution that puts our beaches and coastal wildlife in jeopardy.
