I mean, there are far more important things to be worried about than something that happened 5 whole years ago, world war three is getting ready to happen for Christ's sake.

And we all know they lie up there, heck, all them politicians and government people lie all the time, but, who cares? That event was so long ago, and things are going so well, why dwell on the past and the negative?

Since it just barely registered in today's news, let's just try to get over it and let the dead rest in peace.

THE 10-member commission that investigated the US response to the September 11 attacks considered seeking a criminal probe of the Pentagon, believing it had deliberately misled the panel and the public, The Washington Post reported today.

Originally, vague and at times contradictory statements about how the Pentagon tracked one or more of the four hijacked airliners were attributed to the confusion prevalent on the day of the attacks.

"I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described," John Farmer, a former New Jersey attorney general who led the staff inquiry into events on September 11, told the daily in a recent interview.

"The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years ... This is not spin. This is not true."

...is an extremely important piece of the puzzle on HOW (and, ultimately, WHY) they failed to protect the US mainland against an attack, DESPITE being warned by multiple sources.

It's important... VERY important, and RELEVANT to how we're in the present mess, since 9/11 was one of many pretexts for our Iraq incursion.
