Murtha, Leahy, Hagel, and Kucinich

These four Congressmen have all publically come out with statements which call for an immediate cease fire in Lebanon.

While I have made posts defending Israel when I feel the country has been criticized unfairly, I do agree that there should be a cease fire and that the violence must stop.

Ideally, Hezbollah should also release the two prisoners as well.

What I do find odd, though, is that these four men are the ones who have come out and made a statement about a cease fire.

What is the common thread, if any, that they share?

They seem to be a quite ideologically mixed group.
