Poll question: Where on the gulf coast will CHRIS make land fall ?
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 05:02 PM by MazeRat7
Well... looks like this one may make it to the gulf...if it does it will grow fast considering the water temps.

Take your best guess. At the time of posting CHRIS is just entering the lower right (SE) corner of the GOES-12 sat image.

Edit: note this image will update each time this page is viewed so you can see progress

4. IT was a funny made about the John Dean talk on the
Authoritarian attack on our gov't. He said that we are on the road to facism but it would have to take a HARD right to get there. Sorry, apparently it was only funny to myself!

7. None of the above. Rumor has it that the dry air coming down the

Florida peninsula from the north will move it slightly south and it may just poind itself to death against the mountains of Cuba. At least that's the scuttle from the weather channel.

9. Keep us posted. By the way, could you send that dry air up to
NJ? It is hot and humid (102 degrees and possibly 114 heat index), we actually could use dry air.

Keep us posted on the ts/hurricane!

8. Generally, this far out they try to plot the track so that it will project
the storm passing over as many Home Depot stores as possible. Actually "God" will send this storm where the sinin' and fagin' and buttfuckin' and abortionin' is the worstest. :sarcasm: In the words of a redneck who was on the news for the first storm of the season "we're gonna gather up the gran younguns and leave."

11. Well a day later and I think we are on track for Texas.
I'm guessing that once this tropical storm passes Florida, its going to blossom into a full-blown hurricane and draw a bead on Texas. I think it will be pretty clear what is going to happen by Sun afternoon.

The question is, is that 72 planet hours... or 72 business hours ? ;)
