Are MSNBC /CNN showing "balanced News from both Lebanon & Israel?...
It seemed to me that on Tuesday the news seemed to be more from what was going on in Israel than what was going on in Lebanon. Last night Israel made it's full front push into Lebanon territory...and it seemed to me that today there was almost an Iraqi type blackout of what was going on in Lebanon.

Although this a.m. a reporter on CNN showed bulldozers plowing "Mass Graves" for Lebanese. The reporter didn't say where the bodies were coming from in Lebanon that would require bulldozers for "Mass Graves." I know a bicyclist from Israel was hit...but are deaths from bombings in the Isreal heavy enough for mass graves?

 Anyone seen some really good reporting that didn't seem like propaganda on either side?

1. The corporate media is solidly pro-Israel.
They don't even try to hide their bias.

5. What bothers me is that they seemed to be fair until last night...and then
it was like a circuit breaker broke and the "feed" got cut off and it turned into the Bush Doctrine..where the media went on "Lock Down."

BUT...to be FAIR about this...I don't have the time to watch both MSNBC/CNN 24/7 and figure most DU'ers don't either...so we all catch little "bits" of what they report when we turn it on...depending on our schedules. I have more time to watch on weekends and days when I work at home.. but it did seem to me they "started out" more fair and balanced than last night and all through today (I was Home and so had more time to watch it.)

Since this isn't like the FILTER with reporters in Iraq...I figured the Cables would like being able to report from both places without being restricted by "Bush War Department" saying they needed to stay in a "Green Zone."

But, I worried that with our Alliance with Israel that "sooner or later" we would end up with Israel dictating our "War Coverage" for those here in America because we have a great amount of money and credibility invested in Israel..and not so much in Lebanon.

2. The MSM
refers to Israel as us and we and Lebanon, Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinians(when the MSM bothers to differentiate) Muslims in general, Iraqis or any other parties not in agreement with Israel as they and them.

Must make Arab Americans feel right at home:sarcasm:

3. It's so sickening. We get the names, backgrounds of every person killed
in Israel (the handful). In Lebanon - "dozens of Lebanese" (no names, no faces of the HUNDREDS). Except this past Sunday, when the horror in Qana could not be ignored.

Today we hear about some "daring" Israeli raid. Damn...you'd think they were covering the exploits of the Chimperor.

6. How has the "nightly news" been since everyone got home and tuned in?
because we DU'ers view our news at "different times."
