Best response to a Freeper email ever!
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 04:23 PM by timber84
and my husaband did it!

Freeper email:

If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com , you can pick
out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a
soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets
it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

I just thought this was a really neat way to send support to the men and
women who serve our country. No matter what you think about politics or
war etc., I think our soldiers would appreciate knowing that you think
of them and appreciate them.

My husbands response:

If you go to this web site, http://www.please-stop-these-emails.com , you can pick
out a cease and desist card and your office will print it and it will be sent to an
employee that is currently sending out opinionated, useless, fodder that is currently
clogging up the network preventing your client's emails from coming through.
You can't pick out who gets it, but they will know who they are.

I just thought this was a really neat way to send support to the men and
women who serve the agency everyday as they have to wade through countless
requests and crazy deadlines. And at the same time they are burdened with emails
with somebody elses opinion forced on them killing their productivity. Please, if you
just have to share your thoughts with the rest of us at work, post the stuff in the kitchen.
No matter what you think about politics or war etc., I think the employees would
appreciate knowing that you think of them and appreciate them by not wasting their
time with something that you don't really know if they care about or believe in.

4. I'd say "boycott Xerox" but...
...I've seen so many more Xerox printers break down than any other manufacturer's it'd be redundant.

Their products just suck.

5. Thanks for posting that website
Hi,

Thanks for posting the website: http://www.letssaythanks.com

My nephew just came home from Iraq and this sounds like a great idea.

Hate the war

Support the kids stuck fighting this war.
