1. What needs to be done RIGHT NOW to ensure victory in the upcoming mid-terms, less than 100 days from NOW?

2. Where is the accountably for Bushco and its crimes? (answer likely contingent on results of first question)

3. Will the Congress actually pass the new downright fascist Bush Terrorism Bill, giving him the power to incarcerate and torture any of us?

4. If they intend to do so, what can we as non-fascist Americans do to STOP THEM?

5. When will GITMO and other similar facilities be shut down and the prisoners be given trials to determine their guilt or innocence?

6. When will the troops be brought home from Iraq?

7. Will the administration EVER face the consequences of their illegal policies in that country?

8. What can be done to STOP the coming expanded and predictably disastrous American action against other states such as Syria and/or Iran?

9a. Where the fuck are Osama in Laden and his top deputies? 9b. Related: Why the fuck do we have no idea after five long years? 9c, Also related: Are you even fucking trying to get this guy? (only pertinent to you if you believe that Osama exists which seems to vary by poster here)

10. What can be done to "win" in Afghanistan, rebuild it and make sure that we did not waste all of those lives too?

Be clear this is not a plea not to pay attention to the I/P situation. Just a reminder of how very fucked up things are and the fact that we need to keep trying to see the forest for the big fucking trees!

(Mel on the other hand has long since played out and should fall away as the world nor a single life hinges on that news event. It is a pointless fucking distraction. Just my two cents on that.)

Distressing given the fact that is we do not focus (and NOW), we are not going to retake Congress, we will have no opportunity to investigate this criminal administration and they will keep the slaughter at full tilt boogey levels. I believe, as the last six years have shown, that bushco** will never be held accountable, will continue to get away with war and humanitarian crimes of every nature. I also have no hope for the next election. The repukes have not concentrated so much power to let it get away. 10. Too many questions

Suffice it to say that we have a clusterf*ck on our hands. The light at the end of the tunnel is very dim.

Just wondering. Because what I see are a bunch more reasons to not think we can win or have any chance at all.

I can not accept that. If I did, I'd shoot myself in the fucking head (not joking). The state of things in this country are unacceptable.

If everyone acts like I see some folks acting in response to this post, we are doomed to more of the same.

Yet, I see people here all them time tell me we can not win, that they will steal it whatever we do, etc. I'm kind of sick of that kind of defeatist talk. If those folks (not you per se speaking in generalities) really believe that, why do they keep living? Why do they keep living here? And are they ever going to help those of us who refuse not to fight?

Right now, I see those people and their defeatism as a threat to our winning in November. They are certainly not helping that happen. And in the end, I blame anyone that is not doing everything they can to change things in this country, especially the defeatists for the things that are happening. They are enablers. Bad for the country.

On one hand, I would love to be Patrick Henry and give my life for the cause. On the other hand, I'm not getting any younger and my wife is having medical problems. Living out this life away from the terrorists in our govt and abroad is not a bad choice. Hopefully, life can go on!
