Did Bush forget to mention the part about sacrifice?
Bush is gearing up for his Crawford vacation and Republicans are STILL yapping about tax cuts. What`s wrong with this picture? Plenty, considering we`re participating in at least 2 1/2 wars if you want to include the give-peace-a-chance bunker busters we`re sending to Israel.

When Rove and the PNACers were prepping Junior for his stint as The War President, someone forgot to mention the part about sacrifice. Quite a hefty omission, given the fact that sacrifice isn`t something Bush comes by naturally. Of course it wouldn`t be at the top of his to-do list.

Bush`s incessant grinnin` and winnin` drivel may pacify the mindlessly bloodthirsty, but I`ll bet a few of these parents who have lost a child or two in Bush`s invasions must be asking themselves if they did, in fact, draw straws from a lot where they were all short? It`s a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

No dead serious discussion about energy conservation, no pay-as-you-go mini nukes, no in depth forums on body armor, no attention to the national debt. Just a big old cutting frenzy. Cut taxes, cut veteran`s benefits. On second thought, Bush SHOULD go to Crawford. Maybe he could get someone to pour him a tall lemonade, grab a comfy chaise and think about who is sacrificing....and who is not.
