No cease fire until it's sustainable....?????
I know bush said this awhile ago... but it's been stuck in my head as I've been trying to comprehend the logic...

I've concluded - there is no logic to it.

isn't the first step to a sustainable cease-fire is to have a cease-fire? it boggles the mind...

to stop my head from exploding I've attempted to use humor and apply the bush-logic to other things -- and I invite you to add to them..

-- There will be no daylight until the night ends.

-- Spring won't happen until winter is over.

-- The drought will continue until we have a sustainable period of rain.

-- it won't be Friday until Thursday is over

5. You should have watched Olmert on BBC

-- If you can't join them beat them
-- Once you open a can of worms, they always come home to roost
-- Hamas are treading on thin water
-- Hezbolla shoud be aware they are skating on hot water
-- a truce now would be putting the chicken before the cart.
-- The truce will come when Lebanon see the carrot at the end of the tunnel.
-- The press think I don't know what's happening but I've got my ear to the grindstone
-- You've gotta stick your neck out on a limb sometimes
-- We'll burn those bridges when we get to them

10. If we kill all of the people in Lebanon....
there will be no one left to cause us problems. If all of the people in Iraq continue to kill each other we can take the entire country over. :sarcasm:

11. It will be sustainable when there are no Islamic people left
in Lebanon... OK, maybe just no Shi'a left under the age of 50.

That doesn't mean they all were killed, just they are all refugees... with the theory that it will take 40 years to come back.

At least it would keep the body count down.

19. Or, for themselves. This isn't a love affair between BushCo and
Israel, this is the unfolding of a BushCo business plan.

Every drop of blood is on their hands. Every one. For ignoring this situation for years, for inflaming it with their recklessness, and for funding and supplying it.
