Conyers:VRA picture with Bush, New Cook Predictions, GOP getting Desperate
A picture can really tell 1,000 words. If you don't believe me, check out this AP shot of the Voting Rights Act extension signing ceremony, with commentary compliments of Wonkette.

However, words without pictures can be quite telling as well. I found Charlie Cook's latest analysis of the House Dems prospects in November, compliments of Kos, quite telling. After qualifying and hemming and hawing in prior posts, today he smells an "electoral route." I take this as a positive sign, but clearly, we need to all work together from here to November to help pave the way to victory.

There is little doubt the GOP will pull out all the stops to hold on to power. Our friends at the NRCCare conducting a cute poll of who Republicans least want to become Chairmen next fall. Nice agenda they have over there.
