America's societal disease. War good, sex bad. Result?
There is a big discussion going on about the cover photo about one of the most precious events in life - a baby suckling on mommy's curvey mammary gland. Human mammary gland. AKA breast. Good for FCC, though, not one image of a nipple is visible. Luckily the kid is enjoying himself too much for that.

A bare breast or penis on TV? FINE THE STATION! Showing procreation as a good, loving, fun and exciting act? A CRIMINAL ACT!

On the other hand, let's play violence on TV. Let's show cars exploding, insides ripped out, multi-deaths each episode, and we rejoice. It is so much fun to see death.
That is the America we are growing up with. Bullets good, sperm bad. Explosions good, orgasms bad. Knives good, breasts bad.

Add to that, video game violence, a spice of truly incredible AIPAC, GOP and neocon spin, and pretty soon, some Americans are looking at Lebanon, perhaps even Iraq as a video event to cheer on and enjoy as a spectator, rather than a life changing event.

We have traded scientific curiosity, philosophy, ethics, art , love and culture for the study of war and being a slave to the state leader or corporation
