I learned some things tonight
Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 08:07 PM by MoseyWalker
I don't have any anger at my pseudo friends, they are friends after all

There is no such thing as a "war on terror"

I have shrunk a bit since high school

A dead body is still a dead body

I wish I had more confidence

Grandma doesn't like it when you bomb her house and kill her family

I am so attracted to a woman and I didn't think I would be, I think she likes me

Blood running in the streets does not make for an acceptable photo

If I fall in love and ask her, will she say yes?

When will the bombs stop???? When can we go home?????

How many children does she want? As many as me? How many will we have?

Why am I carrying my child out of a burnt out building - dead

What will happen tomorrow?

I am so concerned

should I ask her to marry me?

Will I have to bury my family?

3. You still have time to edit if you feel it needs it...

I wasn't doing a critical read, but sure liked the juxtaposition of emotions you portrayed.

You always take a chance putting up creative writing on a message board like this, but it's great to see the feedback and reaction. It's seldom what you expect.

Kinda like this last one I put up. I'm still a bit nervous about it. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1794093

9. Hey, if you think you have something good, go for it!
I think you do here.

I would like to see more people stretch their creative legs here in this sort of format.

10. I would be willing to bet
that there are many with creative legs!

for some reason, people just don't express themselves.

11. It takes either guts or stupidity to throw your version of art out there
in a general public forum where people can anonymously give their opinion of your worth as a communicator. Many (more sane than I) chose to behave in a normal fashion. You can view my Journal for a sampling of some of the things I've thrown out here.

There are a lot of readers here who enjoy efforts in the vein you mine tonight.

21. There is no praise great enough ...
... for those who can capture the hope/despair, anticipation/dread, love/hate that is life, inextricably intertwined in a few well-chosen words.

Beautifully written. Honestly stated.

And thankfully, shared.
