been playing like he was going to "protect" Florida! Now WHY would I believe that???

I live on the west coast and I'm NOT a happy camper! The water here is already getting so much worse that it ever was, now THIS!! We have a "doggie beach" and both my daughter's family and mine have retriever's, last time we took them to the beach they BOTH got ear infections!

Now, I'm going to go in the other room and SCREAM! And no, it DOES NOT really help!

I'm really very upset about this because I KNOW what IS coming. There isn't much to stop it and I started watching C-Span yesterday morning and even saw Mary Landrieu talking about how Florida isn't drilling!!!

So, we're SUNK... but what's new? I used to ask when will this crap stop, now I KNOW it won't!

Oil and gas producers have long eyed the eastern Gulf. The U.S. Minerals Management Service has estimated those waters could hold some 1.26 billion barrels of recoverable oil and 5.8 trillion cubic feet of natural gas


This will have no impact on prices. By the time most of this comes on line, we will be well into Petrocollapse, and the high priced oil will simply allow the addicts to continue the addiction for a little longer.

I find it interesting that the sweetener was a royalty cut to Gulf States to help rebuild the coast. A coast that will be the new Atlantis within 100 years due to the burning of fossil fuels.
