I pledge to do everything I can to get my Governor elected.
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 09:58 PM by DanCa
I want to say that I plan tooth and nail to get my Democratic Governor Rod Blagojevich reelected to my state . Sure he has done thing that I dont like but like I have been saying I ll take the worst Dem over the best republican any day of the week. SO I just wanted to pledge to you that despite my differences with him, Ill put it aside, and win one for the team.
So whose with me and will vow to get your governor or a suitable replacement dem elcted for office. So whose with me? Oh and a shout out to the freepers and posers out there I just gotta say I would rather be a Democrat in a wheel chair than Ron Reagan on his high horse.

1. What's the back story here?
I don't know the Blagojevich story.

What didn't you like?

3. He's done a few fiscal things i didn't like
But i am just saying i'll put aside my greivances for the good of the party.
Rod has done a lot of good for the state. Like standing up to the religious right at every turn. My grievances with Blago are few and far between. And I wont purify the planet so much that I can't breathe the air.

2. From across the river, Blagojevich looks pretty good.
Got a daughter in Illinois and she thinks he's ok.

5. He sounds MUCH better than what we've had to deal with...
an egomaniac that determined a personal war on teachers, nurses, firefighters and police officers in our state. Vowed to commit to keeping our air clean AFTER he initiated getting those damn Hummers put on the roads to begin with. Not to mention the fact that he thinks he's so damned special that he had a special tent constucted outside of his gov. offices so that he could smoke--yes, mr. health and fitness smokes and doesn't care who knows. Added to the fact that the muscleheaded asshat was hell bent on calling a special election to push his special agenda that cost us ridiculous sums of money, AFTER he said he was going to help our deficit.

So if your guy hasn't done any of this boneheaded stuff--I say campaign away! I'll be busy making sure this guy's political career in CA is OVER.

7. This has to happen!
I'm with you 110% Rod must win in 06. If we get a Repub for Govenor, we will have diebold in the near future.

When is Jesse White's term up? If we get both Repub Gov and Sec of State, Illinois will be screwed, RED!

9. I actually don't know much about Rod and what he's done
sad, right? I care way more about federal politics, just because I know Illinois is in good Democratic hands.

11. Dan, count me in as well.
There are some things he's done that I don't quite agree with but when you look at what the Goopers are offering, Judy Baar Topinka and that weasel from DuPage County, Joe Birkett, well that's enough to make me :puke:.

I had to laugh tonight on the WMAQ news at 6:00 pm, when they showed Topinka and the guy that's the Gooper leader in the Illinois Senate, saying where was the money going to come from?

What f***ing hypocrites they are. George Ryan and the rest of that crowd raped and pillaged the treasury of the State of Illinois for years and got away with it. But here's good ole Judy pointing fingers at the Democrats. Give me a break, b**ch.

Blago's all-right with me.
