Excellent speech which reaffirms that the United States is an ally of Israel, but also that the fight does not hurt Hezbollah and hurts both Israel and Lebanon.

Strong indictment of Rice.

1. I don't have a dog in the fight
but as a veteran I have seen truces and ceasefires and negotiations work, work, work. I am neither for or against Israel or Hezzbollah, I just want them both to stop firing at each now. And I don't think that is too much to act. "Conservatives" in America wallow in death, destruction and despair and that is just fucking sick.

Good on Senator Leahy.
