Bush in Good Health, but Gained Weight

President Bush, after a nearly four-hour physical exam Tuesday, said he was in good health but indicated he had put on a few pounds.

"Doing fine. Health's fine. Probably ate too many birthday cakes," said Bush, who celebrated his 60th birthday at numerous occasions in July.

Bush underwent tests at the National Naval Medical Center in suburban Washington. "I'm just amazed at the health care here in Bethesda," the president said as he left the hospital. He said the facility was an "amazing operation."

lab work and it often takes more than a week to get the results back. How can they give him a clean bill of health in four hours?
