Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 01:01 PM by Philosoraptor
How much do they donate to our senators and congressmen and lobbyists that we know of?

And how much influence does Saudi Arabia have?, How much influence if any do they have on our government and our foreign policy?

P.S., I don't hate Jews.

1. Zero and none
Israel donates nothing to any senators, congressmen, or lobbyists.

American Jews and other American supporters of Israel do donate a substantial amount to those entities you mentioned.

2. How come people feel the need to state "I don't hate jews"...
any time they speak critical of israel?

It almost seems like Isreal has a really good force shield from wrong doing by claiming anti-semitism?

BTW: I don't hate jews either but the more I educate myself on Israel the more I don't like what I see
(the government not the people) Uhg! See what I mean?

somebody please explain.

3. remember Pat Buchanan's statement?
Caused quite an uproar when he referred to the US Congress as "Israeli-occupied territory."

5. Its been a good week; Rice (birth pangs), Conrad Burns (firefighters),
Lets see, who else has been stupid; Mel Gibson would be number 1, there has to be more from last week.

6. Its probably the single most powerful lobby.
Enough influence to get hundreds of billions from us and to base our entire foreign policy on a "special relationship." Enough to make us take positions that have so thoroughly alienated the Arab world that we were attacked on 9/11. Enough to inject paid political operatives of the Likud party into high level defense department positions where they planned the Iraq war (Feith and Pearle).
