Israel 'warns' folks to leave, but the old, infirm, and disabled stay
and are being slaughtered.

A spokesman for the Red Cross just said this on CNN.

article:

Israel warns villages deep in Lebanon to leave ahead of offensive

1. The BBC last night covered a flattened village identified
as being in "long disputed territory." It pointed out that no survivors under the age of 65 had been found in that village, although a lot of people had managed to survive the bombing.

It's a miracle how they did, there was not much standing.

The people left behind to fend for themselves are the old or the sick.

That makes me think that people who managed to get out have been doing so on foot.

Sickening.

2. Nonsense.
Those old and sick folks could leave if they wanted to, just like how New Orleans was completely evacuated before Katrina hit.

Oh, waitaminute...

5. It's like Hurricane Katrina, except with bombs that say "Made in USA"
Too old, too poor, too sick to get out?

Tough shit.

6. Do they think there're 750,000 or a million hotel rooms vacant in the area
Where are 1 million plus Lebanese supposed to go? The Holiday Inn Express, Tel Aviv?
How are they supposed to get there with Israeli bombs and shells dropping on the roads and the bridges blown out?
